The F-150 Lightning features a fully electric powertrain, but don’t think because it’s electric, you won’t have all the power you need for speed and towing. The battery can pump out a whopping 580 HP and 775 lb-ft of torque. Depending on the trim, the Lightning can easily haul 7,600 lbs on the low end with the Pro, all the way up to 10,000 lbs with the XLT & Lariat. That’s nearly as much as the 2023 F-150’s 14,000 tow rating.
These pick-up trucks are fast too– they easily go from 0-60 MPH in 4 seconds or less. It’s everything you’d expect from the best-selling truck brand for nearly half a century.

2023 Ford F-150 Lightning Range and Charging Time

You can expect around 240 miles for the Pro, 320 miles for both the XLT & Lariat and 300 for the Platinum off a single charge. As for getting the battery fully charged, it takes about 10 hours to go from 15% to 100% for the Pro, XLT, & Lariat using the Ford Charge Station Pro at home. Whereas, for the Platinum, it will take only 8 hours. Of course, keeping your battery full won’t be an issue with over 75,000 public charge stations located across the U.S.

2023 Ford F-150 Lightning Interior and Features

Not only did Ford innovate with the battery and powertrain, but they also made some quality-of-life improvements and enhancements to the interior. First, there’s a 12” SYNC infotainment touchscreen display where you can easily see and use apps for music and navigation. It also gives real-time info about outside temperature, tire pressure, and more. And that display is upgraded to an incredible 15” for the Platinum trim.
There’s also Dual-Zone climate control and heated seats to keep everyone nice and comfortable no matter the weather outside. There’s FordPass 4G LTE Wi-Fi to keep everyone connected on the road. Ford has released 4 trim levels for the F-150 Lightning. These are the Pro, the XLT, the Lariat, and the Platinum. The 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning XLT

The XLT takes everything from the Pro, and it adds a few more upgrades to help it stand out from the pack. One of the notable features includes an interior workspace that folds out from the center console.
